Extra Time (Daily Picks) Guide

In FC Mobile 25, Extra Time is a feature that lets you exchange Extra Time Tokens for various player rewards. To help you make the most out of it, here’s a step-by-step guide on how to collect Extra Time Tokens, complete exchanges, and earn player rewards.

Step 1: Collect Extra Time Tokens

The first thing you’ll need for Extra Time exchanges is Extra Time Tokens. To get these tokens, you’ll need to trade in your low-rated and unusable players (we recommend the untradable ones), also known as “fodder,” in the Exchange menu under the Extra Time / Daily Picks tab.

Here’s a breakdown of the exchanges available for Extra Time Tokens. Each option refreshes daily:

After collecting enough Extra Time Tokens, you’ll be ready to redeem them for players in the Extra Time menu.

Step 2: Redeem Tokens for Player Rewards

Once you have a good amount of Extra Time Tokens, head to the Extra Time menu (located on the left side of the main screen). Here, you’ll find five different player picks to choose from.

Each pick has specific token requirements, and some give you a choice between multiple players. Here’s what each pick offers:

Let’s break down what each pick offers:

1. Free Pick: A simple, no-cost option for a 70-95 OVR player once per day.
2. Daily Pick: Spend 200 gems for a 70-96 OVR player, with a small chance (<1%) of getting the 91 OVR Mascherano.
3. Untradable Pick: Spend 30,000 Extra Time Tokens for a 100-103 OVR untradable player.
4. Scouting Pick: Redeem 25,000 Extra Time Tokens for a 97-103 OVR player.
5. Trick or Treat Pick: For 12,500 Extra Time Tokens, you can get a 96-101 OVR player, with a chance of receiving a 101-103 OVR untradable player.

Christmas Pick

To celebrate Christmas, EA has released Christmas Picks in the Extra Time. Each day, new offers will be available to claim.

Are the New Rewards Worth It?

The new Extra Time reward system may seem attractive at first glance, but if you’ve used previous reward systems in FC Mobile, you might notice that these changes are a bit of a downgrade. Here’s why:

1. High Token Costs: The top player picks require an enormous amount of tokens, which means you’ll need to trade in high-rated players daily. This might work well for those with an abundance of high OVR fodder, but for most players, it can be a heavy cost just to earn a player that still might not make the starting lineup or boost your Team OVR.
2. Untradable Players: Many rewards are untradable, meaning you can’t sell them if they don’t fit your team. These untradable players can easily pile up in your squad, making the rewards less flexible and useful.
3. Low Pull Rates for Top Players: The chance of pulling top players (100+ OVR) remains quite low, even after spending thousands of tokens. The low chance of getting high-OVR players might leave you disappointed after putting in a lot of time and resources.

Overall, the high token costs and limited chances to get top players make this new system feel less rewarding than previous setups. While it might work for players who already have lots of high-OVR fodder, most players may feel these rewards aren’t quite worth the effort or resources.
