In FC Mobile 25, Extra Time is a feature that lets you exchange Extra Time Tokens for various player rewards. To help you make the most out of it, here’s a step-by-step guide on how to collect Extra Time Tokens, complete exchanges, and earn player rewards.

Step 1: Collect Extra Time Tokens
The first thing you’ll need for Extra Time exchanges is Extra Time Tokens. To get these tokens, you’ll need to trade in your low-rated and unusable players (we recommend the untradable ones), also known as “fodder,” in the Exchange menu under the Item Exchange tab.

Below is a breakdown of the available exchanges for Extra Time Tokens. You can exchange up to a maximum of 10,000 Extra Time Tokens per day.
Requirements | Reward |
---|---|
95-99 OVR Player | 100 Extra Time Tokens |
100-104 OVR Player | 1,000 Extra Time Tokens |
105 OVR Player | 2,500 Extra Time Tokens |
106 OVR Player | 5,000 Extra Time Tokens |
107 OVR Player | 10,000 Extra Time Tokens |
After collecting enough Extra Time Tokens, you’ll be ready to redeem them for players in the Extra Time menu.
Step 2: Redeem Tokens for Player Rewards
Once you have a good amount of Extra Time Tokens, head to the Extra Time menu (located on the left side of the main screen). Here, you’ll find five different player picks to choose from.

Each pick has specific token requirements, and some give you a choice between multiple players. Here’s what each pick offers:
Pick Type | Cost | Reward Range | Limit |
---|---|---|---|
Free Pick | Free | 80-99 OVR Player | 1x/day |
Value Pick | 25 FC Points | 80-109 OVR Player (95%) 1-100 Aqua vs Inferno Shards (5%) | 10x/day |
Star Pick | 10,000 ET Tokens | 105-108 OVR Player* (100%) 50-300 Aqua vs Inferno Shards (20%) | 1x/week |
Elemental Pick | 5,000 ET Tokens | 100-107 OVR Player / 108-109 OVR Player* (60,5%) 10-150 Aqua vs Inferno Shards (39,5%) | 3x/day |
Rotation Pick | 4,000 ET Tokens | 100-107 OVR Past Event Player | 1x/day |
Let’s break down what each pick offers:
- Free Pick: A simple, no-cost option that gives you a player rated 80–99 OVR once a day. Not the most exciting, but useful for beginners or fodder collection.
- Value Pick: Requires FC Points, but gives a solid chance (95%) at an 80–109 OVR player, with a small chance (5%) of earning Aqua vs Inferno Shards. If you have spare FC Points, this pick can be worth trying.
- Star Pick: A premium exchange using 10,000 tokens that guarantees a 105–108 OVR player. You also have a chance to receive up to 300 Aqua vs Inferno Shards. Great for upgrading your team with top players.
- Elemental Pick: Costs 5,000 tokens and gives a decent chance at high OVR players (including 108–109 OVR), plus a chance at shards. This is one of the best value options for those looking to balance team upgrades and event currency.
- Rotation Pick: Offers players from past events for 4,000 tokens. If you missed out on strong cards from earlier events, this is your chance to catch up.
The Extra Time feature in FC Mobile 25 offers great value, especially if you have lots of fodder lying around. With smart exchanges and strategic use of your tokens, you can earn high-rated players and collect shards for the Aqua vs Inferno event at the same time. Whether you’re aiming for a specific OVR or just stacking your club with depth, Extra Time is a great tool for both casual and competitive players.
