In FC Mobile 25, Extra Time is a feature that lets you exchange Extra Time Tokens for various player rewards. To help you make the most out of it, here’s a step-by-step guide on how to collect Extra Time Tokens, complete exchanges, and earn player rewards.
Step 1: Collect Extra Time Tokens
The first thing you’ll need for Extra Time exchanges is Extra Time Tokens. To get these tokens, you’ll need to trade in your low-rated and unusable players (we recommend the untradable ones), also known as “fodder,” in the Exchange menu under the Item Exchange tab.
Below is a breakdown of the available exchanges for Extra Time Tokens. You can exchange up to a maximum of 10,000 Extra Time Tokens per day.

After collecting enough Extra Time Tokens, you’ll be ready to redeem them for players in the Extra Time menu.
Extra Time Token: 04 will expire on September 25, 2025, and can no longer be used after that date. Make sure to spend them before the deadline. After September 25, Extra Time Token: 04 will be replaced with Extra Time Token: 05.
Step 2: Redeem Tokens for Player Rewards
Once you have a good amount of Extra Time Tokens, head to the Extra Time menu (located on the left side of the main screen). Here, you’ll find different player picks to choose from.
Each pick has specific token requirements, and some give you a choice between multiple players. Here’s what each pick offers:

- Free Pick: A simple, no-cost option that gives you a player rated 81–100 OVR once a day. Not the most exciting, but useful for beginners or fodder collection.
- Daily Pick: The chance of getting Captains Shards is very low (only 1.55%), while most of the time (98.45%) you will receive a 95+ OVR player. Since Gems can be obtained for free and the cost is quite cheap, this pick is a good option. The player rewards can also be exchanged for extra Time Tokens, which makes it even more useful for progress.
- Value Pick: Requires FC Points, but gives a solid chance (95%) at an 80–109 OVR player, with a small chance (5%) of earning Captains Shards. If you have spare FC Points, this pick can be worth trying.
- Star Pick: A premium exchange using 10,000 tokens that guarantees a 107–111 OVR player. Great for upgrading your team with top players.
- Shard Pick: Costs 5,000 tokens and gives a decent chance at high OVR players (including 108–111 OVR), plus a chance at shards. This is one of the best value options for those looking to balance team upgrades and event currency.

Can I not buy the star pick twice??
Cause it shows bought 1/1 and then above it it says event expires in—
You can only buy the Star Pick once per week.

I bought a daily pick elemental pick and selected a 101ovr gk but it’s not showing in my players. What to do?
Extra Time rewards need to be claimed manually from your Inbox. Check the Inbox icon at the top right corner of the screen, you should find it there.
