In EA Sports FC Mobile, the goalkeeper (GK) position holds significant importance, especially in Division Rivals mode. However, it’s important to note that a goalkeeper’s real-life status as world-class doesn’t necessarily guarantee superior gameplay in the game. Sometimes, less-known goalkeepers may perform exceptionally well in FC Mobile 25.

This underscores the importance of having a skilled goalkeeper on your team. The current meta favors certain goalkeepers over others, and knowing which ones can give your team a competitive edge is vital. Selecting a goalkeeper isn’t just about speed; reflexes, handling, reactions, and positioning are all critical factors that can elevate a goalkeeper to world-class status. However, finding the right goalkeeper for your team will depend on your specific needs and the system you’re running.

Are you in need of a resolute shot-stopper whose sole aim is to prevent the ball from crossing the goal line, or do you prefer a goalkeeper skilled in distribution, capable of delivering long balls over the opposition’s defensive line? Rest assured, there’s a goalkeeper for every style of play out there.

In the previous seasons, one of the advantages of GK was height (and it was too overpowered). We had hoped this wouldn’t be the case for the current season. Unfortunately, it still is.

Goalkeepers with greater height have an advantage in defending shots aimed close to the goalpost, and they excel at intercepting balls that are tossed deep into the penalty area. This is due to their extended reach and ability to cover a larger area within the goal.

Stats that are very important for goalkeepers are Reflexes, Diving, Reactions, Handling, and GK Positioning.

The Reflexes stat indicates the agility of the goalkeeper during a save attempt. Essentially, it measures the speed at which the goalkeeper can react to a shot on goal. A lower Reflexes stat could result in the goalkeeper reacting slower to shots or potentially missing them altogether.

Diving refers to the goalkeeper’s capacity to make a save while leaping through the air. This ability is directly influenced by the player’s height, with taller players generally excelling at diving.

Handling, on the other hand, is a unique attribute for goalkeepers that assesses how cleanly they catch the ball and their ability to maintain possession once it’s caught. Essentially, it measures the goalkeeper’s tendency to catch the ball outright, as opposed to deflecting it away, and their ability to hold onto it securely.

GK Positioning refers to the ability of goalkeepers to correctly position themselves when attempting to save shots. Moreover, it also influences how a goalkeeper responds to crosses, determining their positioning and reaction in these scenarios.

Please note that all of these goalkeepers need to be Ranked and trained to display their best gameplay. The higher their Rank and Training Levels, the better their gameplay becomes.

You also need to activate their Skills using Skill Points to maximize their stats. Goalkeepers have four types of skills to choose from: Diving, Passing, Shot Stopper (Unlocks after Diving reaches Lvl. 3), and Sweeper Keeper (Unlocks after Passing reaches Lvl. 3).     If the GK update solved the height dominance, then Iker 98 EoE, Sommer 97 Bundesiga Rivalry, Gulacsi 98 UCL Ro16 , Alisson 98 TOTSSF , Ter Segen 96 TOTSSF , Yashin 95 Icons, Singh Sandhu 88 SBC should be added to the list, as their stats are really good.

      Why would Singh Sandhu be up there? He is trash and you need a lot of training. It is also really unlikely for you to have good chem with him and your defenders.

      Mendy used to be one of the best goalkeepers in FIFA before the goalkeeper height regulation. Now, he is just an average keeper.

    Not possible at all!!! You have not put the best GKs of Fifa mobile in the list….. Some Legendary GKs like Courtious(102 ovr), Lehmann(99 ovr) and Schmechiel(92 ovr)

    Some good ones are Casillas (End of an Era) 98 OVR, and Alex Meret (EAster) 92 OVR. I had both of these and they are both good.

    Singh Sandhu is the best keeper in the game and you don’t even have him on the list. I bet if I go check the CB list you don’t have Mathoho from nations sbc either who is also a top non prime icon player

        He’s better then most of the keepers on this list. Shows you don’t really know the game. No matter who you ask he’s one of the top 5 keepers pre tots. He’s 6 foot 6 with better stats then POTM Donna.

        then why he is not on the starting XI of the top leaderboard players? He is pretty good for low-medium teams, but not good enough for top teams.

        Ans. Sandhu is 88 so needs training. Also he will hurt ur chemistry as ur CBs are not likely to be from Sandhu’s Team/league/Nation.

        He might be the least tested GK so no big reviews about him from big players.
        But given his Height, Stats and No.1 SB, He is as good as donna or Courtois on paper before EAs height fix.
        Now dat all GKs are of same height (stupid fix by EA) Sandhu is still top guy but not best GK.

        Lol… height no longer important they have all the same “size”. Check stats only. And Indon’t think they will update before totwsf presents all the players

      He might be, but whenever I play against him, he is terrible. I would rather get 93 Golden Week Mendy. Mendy is really good at saving low shots, long-range finesse shots and those close-range power shots

        No way. Meret had good height before the height change and good stats. Now he only has good stats. He is still very good at saving very close range power shots.

        Take Courtois ,he is one of best goalkeeper. This will increase your chemistry level too.

    sommer sucks i grinded for him just to lose 4:0 first game i got him his height is holding him down i don’t get this game at all

      I use Handanovic and he is great. I did the switch first with SP Courtois and then with POTM Donna but honestly in H2H the difference in price was not worth it at all. Handa is solid in H2H enough for him to be compared with them and keepers will always concede no matter how good they are, for VSA I keep Courtois because I’m still completing Zidane chapter 3 but will sell him when I’m done.

      Handanovic is also a good gk in game and also the 2ñd best gk in seri A after donna. But no need to change.
